What drugs should not be taken with CBD?Updated 5 months ago

Although studies of CBD generally reflect a low risk of clinically significant drug interactions, drugs that are metabolized by the cytochrome P450 or CYP450 family of liver enzymes could be impacted by concurrent use of CBD. These drugs include Warfarin, Theophylline, Clobazam, Valproate, Alcohol. As a potent inhibitor of the enzyme CYP3A4, CBD may result in increased levels of drugs which require this enzyme to be metabolized.
