What is Hemp?

Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa L plant and refers to the non-intoxicating (less than 0.3% THC) strains. Hemp and marijuana come from the same cannabis species but have different genetics and cannabinoid (kuh-NA-bih-noyd) profiles, with hemp rich in the non-euphoric cannabidiol (CBD) and marijuana producing mostly psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol or THC.

What is Hemp Oil?

Hemp oil can refer to CBD rich full spectrum oil, which is extracted from phytocannabinoid (Fight-o cuh-nabba-uh-noids) rich flowers, leaves and stems of the Cannabis sativa plant or to hemp seed oil. Unlike full spectrum hemp oil, hempseed oil does not contain CBD or other cannabinoids and is obtained by cold pressing hemp seeds.

What is Hemp Flower?

Hemp flower is the CBD and terpene rich bud of the Cannabis sativa plant. Full of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, hemp flowers are highly regarded for their potential therapeutic benefits and can be smoked or turned into extracts like full spectrum CBD oils.
